Ashley has been there from engagement, to wedding, to pregnancy, and now annual family photos. There is no one else I could see photographing these memories for my family.
Classic is for the family that needs a quick update, has little ones with a short window, or the couple who just wants a handful of images to share. Heirloom is a full experience — this is where we end up wrangling kids onto horses, frolicking through sheep pastures, or turning an engagement session into a picnic at the dog park. Your session becomes an activity, not an obligation. It's also the perfect choice for couples who want to truly forget the camera is there before their wedding day — sixty minutes is usually right when that shift happens. If you're still not sure, reach out and we'll figure it out together
The more energy, the better. I've helped wrangle three kids and parents on horses, followed couples into creeks, and watched a dog make a beeline for the river and join the engagement session muddy. What feels chaotic in the moment is usually what you'll laugh about most when you look back. Who wants picture perfect when you can see the real version?
For Classic sessions, simple and familiar works best — a location that feels like you without any distractions. For Heirloom sessions we can get a little more dynamic. Think meeting at the dog park and ending with a picnic in the field nearby. One location with room to move through it rather than rushing between spots. Not sure where to go? I'll send you location ideas as part of your session resources.
A $100 retainer secures your date and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due the week before your session. If you'd like to break your balance into payments, just ask — I'm happy to work something out.
This is actually one of my favorite things to help with — and it's included in your session resources. The short version: avoid dressing everyone in the exact same color. Mix tones, layer in a pattern or two, and let each person feel like themselves rather than a matching set. Layers are your best friend — a sweater draped over your shoulders gives you a whole second look without an outfit change. The full guide walks you through everything, but if you're ever unsure just send me what you're thinking and I'll weigh in.
Many of the faces you just saw started as wedding clients. Some of them I've now been photographing for eight years. I get to show up for the moments that come after — first homes, new babies, growing families, and all the ordinary days worth remembering.
Whatever brought you here, I'd love to plan something that honors the milestone.
